We make it a point to visit doctors annually for routine exams and tests. Many companies ask employees to participate in an annual performance review. What if we did the same with our spiritual lives? What if we asked ourselves: “How can I improve my spiritual health? How can I be a better disciple of Jesus Christ?”

Lent is a time of more intentional self-examination. Are we truly living the life to which we are called? This year, you are strongly encouraged to meet with the pastor for a SPIRITUAL CHECK-UP. This will not be a time filled with guilt, shame, or ridicule for what you have or have not been doing. It will be forward-focused, developing a plan for you to grow and mature as a disciple of Jesus Christ, personally and in connection with the church, through the rest of 2012.

 

Labyrinth Discovery

Learn what a labyrinth is, and how it can deepen your prayer life. There are many labyrinths nearby, and Pastor Erik would love to schedule a time to walk a labyrinth with you, or a small group of people, during the 40 days of Lent. Contact him to schedule a date, time, and location.
